To anyone coming to this for the first time:
As you know from other web comics you’ve seen, the first few strips of any comic (unless done by a seasoned artist) are less than stellar. The comic often evolves as the author(s) figure out exactly where they want it to go. (See Megatokyo for a good example of this)
This comic takes a huge change once Season 2 starts, so these first few comics are not representative of where the strip is headed in the future. So, enjoy them, but whether or not you like them, go to Season 2 to see where we’re headed.
