Appearances More Important Than Substance

Ok, it didn’t get that bad - YET.  But it’s true that he is so bad at public speaking that last time he spoke about the economy, the stock market fell.  So for his next talk, he was in a room in which the press was not allowed to bring video cameras (and maybe photographic ones as well).  Even then, tons of reporters wrote about how he looked uncomfortable and like his clothes didn’t fit well.  So, I think a blacked out press conference can’t be far off.

I hope to get back to using Blender and the regular characters soon.

Hopefully Coming Back Soon

Everything is setup on my new computer and Blender works again.  Things are finally finishing up from my move into my new house.  Dan and I are working on some new stories.  So I’ll see you  some time later this month!

Comics Spotty Through May

Right now my apartment is a huge mess as I get ready to move into my new house.  That’s taking up a lot of my time and I still haven’t arrived at a solution for my computer.  The new nVidia drivers don’t work any better and I think my card might be a little messed up.  It doesn’t make sense to buy a new AGP card, so I’m going to order one for another, better, computer I have.  Expect the normal comics every Tues and Thurs to resume in June.  Until then it will be a bit spotty.

Temporary Hiatus

My computer is on the fritz so it might be a little bit until I can come up with another strip.

Comic late or not at all today

I was out of town for a wedding last weekend so I wasn’t able to get a comic ready in time for today.  I’m going to try my best to get one out today, but if not, it’ll be up Thursday.  Sorry about that.

Yay for the Developers of ComicPress

Now we can have some xkcd-style alt tags for the comics.  For those that have no idea what I’m talking about - Usually this is supposed to be the title in a little yellow bar that appears when you put your mouse over an image.  This is supposed to be the title of the image or some such practical thing.  But over at xkcd they’ve been using it for a second punchline on their comics.  In fact, sometimes I find the alt tag punchline funnier than the actual punchline.  Now that it’s been enabled, look for it in some future comics.  I can’t say that I’ll add it to every comic from now on, but I will have it on some of them.  Dan has already had it on his “Dom” comics.
